Overhead and Behind is an ongoing learning exercise in three parts: Working Conditions, The Refusal of Objects and Disturbing Distribution (forthcoming). Through learning by doing, it unfolds new episodes as an attempt to look at the act of orientating different standpoints.

For the degree show 2012, I will make a progress report that will look into objects* of the research as well as the meaning of making progress. What are the frameworks that are over one’s head? And what are the consequences of being behind, i.e. to slow down and counterpoise progress?

By combining existing parts of the research with the context of the degree show as the finalization of an ending and the emergence of new contexts along with my personal views from under-standing and the notion of being behind; (non)significant moments can appear, generating traces, evidence and suggestions which consequently slow down the motion of progress.

Inför Vårutställningen 2012 kommer jag att skapa en framstegsrapport som kommer att studera forskningens objekt* liksom betydelsen av att göra framsteg. Vilka är de ramar man har över sig? Och vilka blir följderna av att vara efter, till exempel att sakta ner och vara en motvikt till utvecklingen?

Genom att kombinera existerande delar av forskningen med Vårutställningens kontext som ett fullbordande av en avslutning och framträdandet av nya kontexter tillsammans med mina personliga åsikter från förståelsen och föreställningen av att vara efter kan (icke)signifikanta ögonblick uppträda, som skapar spår, bevis och antydningar som följaktligen saktar ner framstegens rörelse.
