My work is based around an exploration of the human body, the body as sculpture and construction, images concerning notions about fiction and reality.

I create imaginary conditions that relate to reality. A structure of an abstracted body in which the expression, to a large extent, depends on me and my own acting. This is an interaction between emotion and reason. It is also a dispute.

The sculptures are ceramic. I adapt the clay to the body. The organic shapes become inner systems and organs that are later attached to the body. This is me making the sculptures alive.

Together with photographs of sculpture upon body, I also work with coat hangers as representations of the body.

Mitt arbete grundar sig i ett utforskande av den mänskliga kroppen. Kroppen som skulptur och konstruktion, en gestaltning av min egen uppfattning om verklighet och fiktion.

Jag skapar imaginära tillstånd som relaterar till verkligheten. En uppbyggnad av min egen abstraherade kropp där uttrycket till stor del beror på mig och mitt eget agerande. Ett samspel mellan förnuft och känsla – samt en konflikt.
Jag formar leran efter kroppen. De organiska formerna blir inre system och organ som sedan placeras utanpå kroppen.
Jag ger skulpturerna liv.
Tillsammans med fotografier av skulptur på kropp, jobbar jag med klädgalgar som en representation av kroppen.
